RTWC mobilizes volunteers, finances, and resources to meet the home repair needs of homeowners throughout the county. It is an organization that is dedicated to partnering with the community to repair and rehabilitate the houses of the low-income homeowners in Washington County, Oregon.
Types of Repairs
RTWC staff and volunteers meet a variety of needs within our service programs; our focus is on completing the repairs that will mitigate risks to the health and safety of the homeowners. Types of repairs include: heating/ventilation, accessibility modifications, plumbing, electrical, roof repairs, broken window repairs, floor repairs, exterior painting, and door repair/replacement.
Income Guidelines
Homeowners served in RTWC’s free home repair programs are living less than 80% below the median family income level set for the Portland/Vancouver Metropolitan area.
Service Priorities
Preference is given to elderly, veterans, those with disabilities, and families with dependent children.
